At Alpha Shop (FruitTreeLand.com), we nurture our plants with care and extend the same attention to your satisfaction. If your order didn’t grow on you like we hoped, our returns policy is designed to be as straightforward as pruning a young sapling.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of delivery. To be eligible:

  • Plants must arrive in poor condition (please contact us immediately if this occurs)
  • Unopened gardening supplies must be in original packaging
  • Books must be unused and in resellable condition

Note about live plants: Due to agricultural regulations and the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns of live plants that have been planted or removed from their original containers. Please inspect all plants upon arrival and contact us within 48 hours if there are any issues.

Non-Returnable Items

Some of our specialty items cannot be returned:

  • Bee Supplies (for hygiene reasons)
  • Bird Control products (once opened)
  • Digital downloads (if applicable)
  • Any plant that has been removed from its original container or planted

The Returns Process

  1. Contact Us: Email [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order with:
    • Your order number
    • Photos of the item(s) you wish to return
    • A brief explanation of the reason for return
  2. Approval: We’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions.
  3. Ship Back: For approved returns, pack items securely using the original packaging when possible. We’ll provide a return shipping label for defective items (customer responsible for return shipping otherwise).
  4. Inspection: Upon receipt, our nursery team will inspect the returned items (typically within 3 business days).
  5. Resolution: You’ll receive an email notification once your refund or exchange is processed.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are handled as follows:

  • Our mistake: Free return shipping (we’ll email you a prepaid label)
  • Change of mind: Customer pays return shipping

We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking.

Refund Timeline

Once your return is approved:

  • Credit card/PayPal payments: Refunds processed within 3-5 business days (appears on your statement in 5-10 business days depending on your financial institution)
  • Original payment method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
  • Exchanges: We’ll ship your replacement item once the return is approved (shipping times follow our standard delivery estimates)
